Piece of garbage . . . can

Another work in progress, I modeled and shaded the fake trash can in this picture, it was really nice to have rendered out each separate layer and then composited the whole thing.

Casas

Wow, it's been about a month since I've uploaded anything. Well, this is a stab at a 101 Dalmatians-esque drawing, the first I've tried, I want to do more. The hard thing about these is putting the color outside the lines without making it look sloppy. It's still pretty cookie-cutter, I'm going to keep messing with it.

On Campus Sketches

Bear Costume

So in Joe's class we were supposed to take an old design we did and do some life studies so we could re-vamp it and then add a Halloween theme.

Focal point by . . .

I decided to revisit a project I did in Joe Olson's class.

Silhouette study

In Ryan Woodward's class, he had us do this project where you start with the shape of the silhouette first, then you block in negative shapes, then come up with the final design. Not my best work, but a valuable lesson nevertheless.

"Hard-working. Alpha male. Jackhammer."

Billy's Balloons Trailer

A project I made last year. Pretty lame, but still fun. People on YouTube seem to like it, anyway.

First attempt . . .

So, I've been avoiding making a blog for some time, but I figured it's about time I get over my embarrassment of having my stuff "out there," so here we go:

I'm really excietd about this 3D class I'm taking, where we get to take a model all the way from concept design and modeling to texutring and final animation. Here's my concept sketch:

The front & side views:
and the model thus far:

We'll see how this works out!
